Early Morning Beached Pangas
Big swell kept the pangas in for a few days in Bahia Asuncion--
This one we want for our front yard! Think anyone would notice?
And a photo of a lost dream.
Great to be back in Asuncion---skipped the surf tournament, but won't miss the other fiesta activities.

Sign says, land has been confiscated because owner has not been here recently.
Seriously, they have put up signs in several places regarding the penalties for the unauthorized taking of abalone, lobster, etc. They are in
Spanish and English. Problem is it apprears that they used a computer for translation so the English makes very little sense.

Diver, I just drove by that sign in front of your place and Diane must be mistaken.
I think you're gonna have to think about a 'setback' change.
.
Also....A huge billboard just outside of town was spray-painted with these notices.
Grim warning. Avoid this place. Stay away. Great White staging area. October is the worst month to visit. There are NO fish anywhere near
Asuncion. If the sharks don't get you, the earthquakes will. Asuncion is populated by time share salesmen. Nobody sells Pacifico. The available
Tecate is vintage and only sold in the old metal cans.
.
.
(Sorry about the little hijack, Diane..but the devil made me do it.)
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

i thought this photo would fit in this panga thread...I LOVE our summer guests as many of them are families with awesome kids...these two have been
having such a grand time, fishing, horseback riding, playing pollypockets with a gang of little girls from the barrio, boogie boarding...and of course
climbing trees.

Good use for a beached panga, I would say! This is a really great place for kids.
