Baja Again...

My wife Delia and I spent an amazing three weeks in Baja, finally ending a two year absence for me, being out here in Tejas and all.
It was wonderful to be back! And so many things to see and do:

Sunsets:

The Botanic Garden:

The Zen Sculpture Garden:

The Cathedral:

Visiting nice friends:

Camping in the Asuncion Dunes:

Hanging out at the Badlands Café:

Elephant Tree Party:

Going to the Ampitheatre:

The Ballet:

And just hanging out for the pure pleasure of not having to do anything:

Yeah, that's my Baja plein-air....sand in the paint included! My wife did some paintings also--will post a few when they get scanned.

Your paintings

Mexitron,

Those are really fine paintings! Besides being a musician, I am also a glass artist. For years I was on the board, and ultimately president of our Nevada County(CA) Arts Council. But this is about you!. Wonderful stuff. I recognize quality art when I see it. I hope we can meet someday.
Best,

Tony

Mexitron, it was an honour to hang with you and Delia...true baja lovers in every sense of the words. I have Delia's painting framed now and love it...yours are really sweet...I especially like the Los Chorros dunes one. We look forward to your next visit.

Roger that. Out of curiosity, just how bad was the zoo to the north? Heading that way in a couple of weeks.

By the way, dig the new avatar.

Sunman--it actually wasn't bad since the waves weren't too good...I just don't like hanging out in front of the casas though either.....I DID hear that it was the worst zoo in memory when the south hit in late July--we had just left but some friends stayed through it all...they said the secret spot wasn't taking the swell so good...we lucked out and got the swell further up the coast--had the whole place to myself!
