Today's Hotel Conversation -- !Que confusion!


My conversation regarding a hotel reservation went like this:


Buenas noches señor Kennet ustedes tienen que darle una llamada a mi hermano Alberto cuando lleguen al aeropuerto para que mi hermano se encuentre con ustedes en el apartamento el número telefónico de él es: casa 2 95 92 22 celular 3119839242, también le puede decir a su novia que lo llame a él para que él le aclare cualquier pregunta al respecto, cuando ustedes estén en el aeropuerto pueden tomar un taxi y dirigirse a la siguiente dirección: calle 22 número 48 - 65 apartamento 604 conjunto Salitre Pijao y en el momento de que mi hermano les entregue las llaves y la habitación ustedes le cancelaran el dinero saludos Martha.

The part that threw me for a spin was...
y en el momento de que mi hermano les entregue las llaves y la habitación ustedes le cancelaran el dinero.

Cancelaran = [slang] Deduct. Wow! :?: Spanish can be confusing! I kept thinking "Cancel" as in "Cancel my reservations" but, this was not the case.

This is not mexican spanish - it's pretty formal - a lot of subject pronouns and subjunctive mood (where I probaly wouldn't use it)...Where's it from btw.
