Ice

Headed South Sunday and want to get the freshest ice possible. Is there an ice plant/house South of Ensenada and before El Rosario?

San Quintin... on the right along Mex. 1... last time I looked! Will the ice you pack before leaving home really melt that much in the few hours to drive to San Quintin?

The ice in most of the stores here in Punta Banda has melted a little bit, either in the transport to the store, or because of their refrigeration. It is not a big deal, but I was going to buy some from the source, if I could do it and not have to back track towards Ensenada. Have driven through San Quintin lots of times, but I didn't remember seeing an ice plant, thanks for the info.

Oh, 10-4... If Punta Banda is your starting point, I understand!

I hope another Nomad comes forward to confirm the ice plant in San Quintin is still there... or where it is, if moved!
