Mulege, Posada and the hill

Hello Nomads,
I was wondering what the current status of the wi-fi internet is down there in Posada. Any service available?
Also wondering if cell phones work down there. I have AT&T and can subscribe to international calling, if it would work while we are down there.
Thanks for your help with these questions!

AT&T worked before the hurricane and it seems everything is back up and working.

Posada info-

There is NO cell phone servive here at Posada Concepcion... period. And there are no phone lines...or power lines for that matter. We have a community gererator that supplies electric. We have a total of 67 houses, eleven of which have a satellite internet systems, several of which cast a WiFi signal for others in range. The Posada hill has one internet system. There ya have it.

Anyone at Posada Concepcion keep track of 'Club Fred'? They were a Canadian couple in the movie business (stunt work)... They lived in the big palm thatch cabaņa on the south side. They moved to the Bahamas to run a resort there and then the resort web site was no more...? Nice folks, used to post on Amigos de Baja... maybe here, too?

Found Them! (in 2007)

I just did a search and see that 'clubfred' has posted 5 times on Nomad in 2007 and that included an exchange with me... Guess they went back to Mulege after the Bahama thing ended? Here is that post: http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=22150
