Great to see the beautiful peaceful and calm sunrise and then see it all start to come to life. Beautiful.

Wonderful that you have a home right on the bayshore... Lucky too that the sea level isn't rising for all the homes on the shore!

Beautiful sunrise... thanks Roger!

Beautiful shots, Roger! Sorry I missed you last week. I was there for a week (while you were gone) assessing my damage. Not a fun week. :(

I will be back down in January or February. If they can't get the electric infrastructure back up in The Orchard, I will use it as a camp house with a generator. The holes in the roof won't get repaired. At least the bats that are now living inside will help clear out the mosquitos. I am not putting any more money into it other than to make it minimally functional.

Wanna buy some guano? :?:

Roger- We were there mid October, had a delightful time in the warm water. Is that sailboat SPRINGBOK still aground the north end of the bay? I see that noisy dog is still on the beach, she is a pain! Keep those photos coming! Vince

Hi Vince..that 'noisy dog' has got to be Cedrik..that beetch who thinks she owns the beach. She/he has been here at Coyote since a mere pup..as you can see below. I should have simply squashed her/him when I had the chance...oh well, maybe manana. Yes, definitely manana...or maybe next week..or..

Roger...

...You're killing me, way up here amongst the vineyards of Alta California...

...yeah, I know, just another crappy sunrise day in paradise...

...as Carnak, of Johnny Carson days might have said, "May a Baja seagull make a large 'deposit' on your favorite T-shirt!"

...nice pic's, as always - I enjoyed seeing our old palapa over at Naranjos - wish we were there to wiggle our toes in the sand!

...later.... I've got to go check this year's 'crush' to see if it's aged enough for dinner...:P

According to my clock...anytime is \'BAJA TIME\' & as Jimmy Buffett says,
\"It doesn\'t use numbers or moving hands It always just says now...\"

Yup, Vince...she is still careened (courtesy of Hurricane Jimena). Here's a few shots I took on yesterday's beach walk. Good neighbors will all keep an eye on her until Joe or the boys return. The bow anchor has been set firm ashore and driven stakes keep her from flopping.

Springbok has been in the Bay for some time, right? She's had some history..mostly as a floating condo. ;)

Is that Joe Sedevic's boat? I have been on that boat while here in SD bay. Didn't realize it was his when we were there. It looks undamaged.

Vince...Yes, that is Joe's Springbok sloop and it is not very damaged at all. Joe or the boys will be down soon, I expect, but the old gal is safe for now.

You never know...you might catch Joe playing his guitar in this San Diego gas lamp bistro with his jazz buddies. If you do, say Hola from moi. ;D
