Thanks for the photo David.... it's funny about this place. The sign outside says Cocteleria Mazatlan, but the chairs inside say Cokteleria Mazatlan. Strange, huh. But, love the food there!!! Bob H

Another landmark which will put you in the vicinity is the main CFE electric company. You can see their antennas a mile away.
Good choice for an restaurant, especially in the warmer months. It gets a bit chilly in there during the winter.
It's a casual place as well so, don't be expecting plush carpets.

It's my guess that the wood carver for the chairs missed Spelling 1A at Harvard. Oh well...adds to the ambiance.

Cocteleria Mazatlan is a Terrific Restaurant

We haven't been there for a few years - glad to hear it is still going strong!

Good info regarding the antennas...

If you are there on a Sunday during the NFL season, they sometimes have the Chargers game on TV by the prep area. Lots of 'local' Charger fans were there watching the game.

Absolutely love this place.

To all who are reading this thread... Make sure you order your Pacificos in a "cubeta" (six for the price of five).... stuffed in ICE! This place is great.
