Revolution Day Parade in Asuncion

Today is my favorite Mexican holiday as it is always colourful with great food and family entertainment starting with the parade in the morning, the pyramids and rythmic routines at the stadium...then a program in the evening where they have food booths decorated like the old days of the revolution...and musical numbers, fokloric dancing and a dance following to a live band....woohooo.
Here are some pics of the parade and stadium show.

Neat pix, shari. I am especially taken by those little boys with mustaches.... and the little cheerleaders. Looks like a real good time was had by all. Thanks for sharing pix of the day.

Fantastic! The children of Asuncion are very blessed. In my opinion, tradition is a very important part of building a family and a sense of community.

It's too bad that this has become so few and far between.

Thanks.
