Sunday at El Rosario Art Festival

This is the El Rosario near the cactus garden between La Paz and El Triunfo. A lovely old mining town.

What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
There will be another festival in San Antonio on Dec 6.
Please support these local festivals. It really helps the communities.

Thanks Judy!

Had me going with 'El Rosario' and 'Cactus'... I though maybe Antonio finally got Pemex and business issues under control and helped put on a show in the OTHER El Rosario! :light:

Such is the case with such a large and diverse peninsula. I, too, thought of the "other" El Rosario when I saw the post. But I had no thoughts of Antonio. I think all he needs is a Seven-Eleven at his station.

Oh thank you for these pictures, Judy.
I really love little El Rosario. The caretaker of the Cactus Garden lives there. He invited me to visit his casa and familia one day.... introduced me to many neighbors who handmade the most wonderful and colorful woven mats/bowls/baskets/tortilla holders. Wish I'd been at this fiesta to pick up a pair of those cactus salt/pepper shakers.

It's been in the works since 2004... and construction had started... It will between the station and motel and is why the laundry room was torn down.

That looks wonderful---great art fair showing off local artists.

And that church is simply beautiful in its simplicity----just beautiful. Thank you sharing this.
