Mexican Slave Labor Operation Busted

Here is a sad situation you would expect to find in the Middle East rather than Mexico.

This doesn't surprise me after hearing first hand from some of the agricultural workers in Baja of the treatment they have endured.

Before anyone goes bonkers on Mexico, fact is this awful crap happens worldwide. In fact, before anyone pats themselves on the back, the Human Rights Center in Berkeley estimates that there are 10,000 "slaves" in the United States. It is a worldwide scourge. And the only reason I can think of to put this Mexico story out there is because is has tinges of racism as those victimized are indigenous.

Tiger Woods or George W. Bush had a hand in the operation. Still no connection with Baja.
