Crossing TJ Monday 12/14 (or so)

We're headed south, planning to cross early morn 12/14 through TJ on our way S on Hwy 1. Anyone interested in a caravan?

Also, I've heard weekday mornings can be slow at the border, anyone have opinion on whether we might be better off through Tecate instead? We're coming down I-5...

You shoud be fine crossing south at that time. Not much traffic heading south then.
