Loreto property taxes
I understand that there is a way for Americanos who own real estate in Loreto to pay property taxes by depositing the tax payment into the municipal
Bancomer cash account in TJ and communicating with the Loreto tax collecting agency about the property tax payment via email or fax. I understand
that the agency will fax back your paid receipts.
Does anybody know the phone and fax number of the Loreto property tax office? Their email address? The name (payee name) and the account number of
the tax account? Possibly a contact person there?

I will be paying my predial tomorrow. If I can garner any information for you, I will certainly post it.
My experience with the Municipio, is that you should be here in person to get ANYTHING done. But, you never know.
The entire plaza is torn up in front of the municipal building, and it looks like a tornado came through. Now, they probably won't put it back in
shape for at least six months, but that's progress for ya. 
If you left a public works project in the US in the shape that the Loreto town square is in at the moment, OSHA would be out writing tickets to the
tune of $14K a day, for public safety hazards. I've never seen anything like it in my 22 years as an excavation contractor in Oregon. 
But.....I love Loreto!!

I have been going to Loreto since 1986. In 1998, I took a one month trip to every coastal town in the Baja and the west coast of mainland Mexico just
to look for real estate to buy. When I came back, the best place, in my opinion, all things considered, was Loreto.
Since then I curse Mexican short comings, the're ingrained in the people, it has to be cultural. But, and this is a big but, I yearn for the Baja
when I am away for more than a month and wish that i could live there full time.
