New Bar in Mulege

This post from the Baja Bush Pilots forum.

Alex has left the Hotel Serenidad and opened his own bar in town. He's in the building that has been closed for several years located across the street from El Candil. (across from the northwest corner of the Zocalo) His Mango Margaritas are as good as ever. He's looking forward to serving the many friends he's met over the years. If anyone has pictures of airplanes in Baja, airplanes and fishing, pretty girls and airplanes, pretty girls and fishing or pictures of about anything else that is significant, he'd like to have copies to help him decorate.

Good for Alex!

He is a great guy, mixes an outstanding Margarita and Pina Colada too, and can put you on a fish to i'm told.

That is a great location, I wish him well and it will be the first stop for refreshments next trip down!

Ahem....

Well....I dunno. Alex might want to hide these in a corner somewhere.

They were all taken in that building's doorway..the one right across from the old Donna Moe's Pizza.

Another classic for Alex?

We used one of my Adolfo/Rudolfo photos taken in front of Alex's bar building as a model for a watercolor.

.

Unfortunately, certain photos of the fairer sex that I have for Alex will not pass the censors here, so I'll be giving him those in person...

So cool, I can remember having drinks in that bar many years ago, I will stop by, say Hi and maybe down one or two.

Mulegemichael and I went in there last week, and were delighted when his son played a few Ranchero songs on his guitar. Absolutely charming. Would help if he could get a sign on the building...

Asked on BBP - can anyone drop by and ask Alex if he ever got an email address yet?
he used to just get them via Diana.
