Tourism Minister for Sinaloa Fired


Literally. He and his driver were killed by assassins as they drove down the main street in Culiacan.

Los datos preliminares que se tienen es que el funcionario viajaba en una camioneta sobre la avenida Álvaro Obregón de sur a norte, y pasando un puente sobre el Río Culiacán fue blanco de los disparos de un grupo de sicarios.

Hace menos de una semana la zona residencial privada Los Alamos, donde vivía Ibarra Salgado con otros funcionarios y legisladores federales -entre ellos el alcalde de Culiacán, Jesús Vizcarra Calderón-, fueron objeto de una revisión por parte del Ejército sin que notificara los resultados.
