I making this thread to ask for advanced permission of the people on Baja Nomad for their expressed permission to embed sound in a thread they create.
If you give me the permission I promise to remove it at your request after I embed it if you do not like it.

Mmmmm, maybe the solution is to leave it big enough for someone to see it so they can turn it off if they want to when it is in autoplay leaving the
Volume turned low so it does not blast them out of their chair when they open up the thread.

Nothing personal, sounds is a very subject thing.. and can change a mood in a heart beat... but, I like your approach and your overall knowledge in
these area's... have been a lot of help, along with others on many of these techniques to add things to a post to make it "stand out" a bit more...
and in most cases improve the ability to communicate "feelings and thoughts" .... and thanks for that...

So, does the embedded sound only play if it is embedded in the first post of a thread? Or, does it play whenever it is embedded in ANY post within
the thread?
It seems like the latter. That being the case, what does it matter if people like this "feature" or not? Everyone has to hear it if it's a thread
started by a person granting permission. There is really no indication which post it is embedded in. What does it matter who's post it is embedded in?
I personally dont like it. Too distracting. But I am not of the gen-x and later crowd that seems to have to have a soundtrack wherever they go in
life. MP this, Ipod that, texting and talking while doing everything else in life (probably even while doing Baja).
I guess I will just turn down my sound when I hit the Nomad board.
