We are hoping to run the whole series, pre-ran the Cabo del Este yesterday -- It will be fast, lots of smooth road and long straight streches.

Help me out here guys.
Which race is shortest?
I'm a motocrosser.
But I'd like to try Baja desert racing.
But motocross is better!

The 250 races are the shortest -- about 150 miles. The track races usually have motorcycles first and run 10 - 1 mile laps.

It looked fast from the pre run pics I saw. I'll look you up when we run one of the races in that circuit.

I think Desert racing is more fun for the racer...Less so for the spectator.

Like Paul says they are usually 150 miles and up.

Paul

One of our circuit riders from Vizcaino, Chinea, took a real hard tumble in the Cabo Grand Prix. The videos are circulating UTUBE since the ATV did multiple spactacular flips through the air.

I like having a cage around me -- If I am upside down I want to be in it, not under it.

I'm sticking with motocross!
There is a nice track in San Quintin. It on a rancho.
Maybe I'll start a motocross school there.
Maybe I can get "Trophy Girls" from the local "Ladies Bar".
Santana's I think it's called.

Some of the best desert racers are former MX guys. They usually handle the rough stuff a little better. Some desert racers use MX as training, like Paul Krause.
