Entering Baja at San Ysidro - no inspection lane

The far left lane must have a broken thing. No red or green light. It is definitely accessible on the weekends.

I noticed that last Friday. I did, however, see the agents pull over a big van that crossed through it.

Yep- I was pulled over.............

............in that lane by a 20-something chick and sent to the inspectation station two days ago. I sat there for 5 minutes only to get a wave-on by some guy without any kind of inspection of my pickup:bounce::bounce::bounce: Peace - love - and mucho fish tacos!

On December 14, When I crossed SY/TJ southbound and got pulled into the secondary inspection on right, my passenger noticed that EVERY van was pulled over for inspection during our 15 minute wait. I drive a Jeep Cherokee "classic".

Yesterday, Jan 11, noticed same thing at 6PM crossing south. Also, subjectively, approx every 4th car got red light. Left and Right inspection lanes were backed up to
the red/green lights last night.

Yes, the traffic stall headed through new TJ playas exit during rush hour adds approx 10-15 minutes. Clear driving on toll road after that.

Lately, I get pulled over into secondary more often than not in my nondescript, empty, 4 door sedan. It's quick, they just look in the trunk.

No Inspection Experienced at TJ

We have used the TJ crossing for the past six years 1-2 times a year. Have NEVER been inspected there. We take the far right lane and park for a few minutes to have our documents stamped and go on our way. We have had the guard stop us and ask for vehicle documents but that is it. Fast and friendly.
