Fat sierra
Got this one this morning. 12 pounds....sure is a different fight from the normal size! I think I got one that was 17 pounds a couple years ago. Does
that sound right, or was I dreaming? The picture I took of it got lost in a computer crash and that had the weight with it.....always backup. Also got
my first wahoo last week, 11 pounds, it got my finger when someone told me to turn it for a picture....sharply!

mas:
i'm heading out this morning, be in l.r. this afternoon and will stay for a week to work on a concrete porch. tan house, blue trim, downhill side of
the hiway in town pretty much on the crest of the hill. stop by and say hello if you're in town for supplies.
i'll hope for a fish report as well...the trip can't be all work.

Outstanding fish! Congrats. The record sierra is 13 lbs., caught of North Carolina back in the '80s.

Different fish, different ocean.
This Site says the record is an 18lb fish from Ecuador.

Hola...I'm South of Los Frailes and the fish was about a mile out. I'm sure they are everywhere right now with the cooler water. I tried to get
another in about the same spot this morning but only small ones. I cooked the part I kept in garlic and butter and some of it is coming back to me as
ceviche. If I'm headed to La Ribera I'll look for you!

Delicioso. Sometimes simple is best. I like a little lemon pepper with the butter and garlic.
