Just a local gay-bashing. What else is new. They encourage gay-friendly businesses in Rosarito (Plan B), and then beat the crap out of them. Completely speculating here though...

Are you sure that video isn't the current one being run by the anti-gay marriage people? It was too funny. Bu that type "sicko" incident in the YouTube happened in Rosarito Wednesday:

My nephew was walking from our house to the Boulevard and was followed for more than a mile by a red jeep with four males inside. He thought he was a target for abduction and he was scared. He got to a safe spot (the lavamatica) and then turned and asked if they had a problem with him. They said "no" and named a few neighbors of ours (that my nephew knows) they were looking for. Then they whistled at him, called him "papacito" and offered him money to go with them. He flipped them off and went on his way. The young man driving the Jeep was none other that Torre's son! Geesh. What a perv!

That sort of stuff is not usually a team sport. Perhaps it was their foolish way of just trying to scare him.

me either. You learn a lot through family when you live here- especially college aged ones. Once he found a spot to turn around and confront his followers- he wasn't afraid of them. After they named the neighbors they were looking for, my nephew figured out what was going on.

Maybe Plan "A" is straight in "Plan B" is "none of the above" ???

The past few years in TJ he had to literally fight his way home every day after school. His neighborhood (east TJ near Otay) is much safer now- no problems lately. The bad guys all got taken out one by one. Just one tweeker still gives him problems but I'm sure my nephew will take him out. He's tough. I'm sure glad I wasn't raised in his time or environment. Worst I ever had to deal with as a kid was a fistfight after school.

He can take care of himself on-on- one or even two-on-one. Any more than that and he's fast enough to join the Mexican national track team.

You're telling us "Plan B" is a gay bar? :o

I know several locals who frequent the place.

They must either be clueless... or suffering from complete denial.

Or gay? lol Plan B is just gay-friendly our friends who live across the street in SADM have told us. Have also heard the old "Lobster Shack" on the main drag called "Metropolis" is the same way. Torres is actively courting the gay dollar but I don't think being exclusively gay or straight is good business- every customer is important.

Gay friendly

Because business sucks (no pun intended), everyone here is gay friendly.

Whether they like it, or not. ;D

as it should be. A customer is a customer.

If you have a big Mexican family everyone has a few. There are a lot worse things to have in your family than someone gay, bi or whatever. We have a transsexual cousin who is genetically pre-disposed to baldness. Nothing like a balding man with huge chi-chi's (although my nephews who eat the hormone-injected chicken down here are getting almost as large chested). Funny how getting older makes us more tolerant.

It is a bummer , but I have not been to baja malibu because of the vibe from that area for a couple of years. I have to say no when my son wants to stop and surf there. what a bummer for both of us and the local economy.

nah- just a bar fight. Don''t give what a few drunks do in a bar too much weight- no matter what or where it is. Now the recent carjackings are a different story...

I've surfed Baja Malibu, some of the best surf I got in Baja Norte. I lived in OB between '72 and '84. I had a rico San Diego friend with parents that owned an oceanfront house there. What a blast, one day we pulled up and it was about 20 mph offshore. It would almost blow your doors off when you opened them. One guy out, he couldn't catch a wave. I said he's a kook. I suited up and went out . 5-7' perfect tubes either way, take off in the middle of the peak look right or left and go, get tubed either way awesome. Back then 1 guard at the gate, change isn't always good.

I honestly dont give a damm about a bar fight they are a natural thing whenever you mix A-Heads with alcohol.
Furthermore, I dont give a hoot about a gay bar- not my flavor but if it's yours more power to ya!

I've got better things to do with my time like watching the superbowl at Sharkey's which I dont thing is a gay bar but I never heard anyone ask about anyones sexual preference once they walked in the door.

Now lets talk about more important things I heard an american had been kidnapped in Rosarito beach this week. Does anyone have any information that confirm or dispell this rumor?
And whats this I read in the Reader this wek about some mysterious Danish people building an exotic copound on the Baja coast?
Should we ready ourselves for the the return of the hale bop comet?
Or should we ready ourselves for the second comming and take heed to Nancys direction and all drink the kool aid from the big galvanized wash tub in the center of SADM?
And why does Margie try to pass herself off as Jim Jones with those creepy wrap around sunglasses?
Oh the humanity!!!!!!
Nancy.....

Anyone......
