Some culinery highlights from last week in Baja


Best Margarita.............Jardines Baja
Best Breakfast.............Bertha's at El Burro (Bahia Conception), pan frances with banana's and a large fresh squeezed orange juice.
Best Fish Taco.............Pepe's in Santa Rosalia both fish and shrimp were awesome, fried not grilled! 2 fish/2 shrimp 50 pesos. perfect!
Best Appetizer...........Mita (or Mita Gourmet) in Loreto, chocolate clams Gratinado.....
Best Dessert.............Domingo's in Loreto, chocolate cake with a flan topping
Best Salad................Ray's in Mulege, simple salad with a mango dressing.
Best Soup...........Pancho Villa's in Mulege, garlic with shimp
Best Entre...........Ray's, Terriaki Flap steak and lobster tail

Best overall dining experience...Ray's for Valentine's Day

Price Fixe meal including a glass of "Champagne"

Appetizers...fresh goat cheese and chips, Oyster's Rockerfeller, Scallop Ceviche (all 3 not a choice of one)
Salad...Iceberg with Mango Dressing
Entre....Surf and turf, Terriaki Flap Steak and a small Lobster Tail, baked potato and vegetables
Dessert...Flan

Price.........$225 peso's $18 US

With one of the most cordial hosts you could hope for!
