Figuring it out in Asuncion
OK, here we go, into the sandbox....
Hello Nomad friends, those we've been lucky to meet here in Asuncion, those whose posts we've enjoyed for 2 years, and all.
We're celebrating our 22nd year of being in Baja. We used to take our daughters out of school for 2 or 3 months every winter, started out camping at
Los Cocos, and later at Los Frailes. Three years ago we were looking for something more permanent and got hooked by Asuncion. Since then we've built a
house and gallery, and now live here for 6 months a year. Our mutual friend Shari has already introduced us to the board with posts about big fish,
accordions, art, and parties.
Now we're looking forward to doing some posting and meeting more Nomads. If you want to see some pics of Galeria Bahia and Asuncion, visit us at http://www.galeriabahia.blogspot.com/

Thanks guys! We're in and out today with rabbit-proofing the grapes, and planning spots for the new plants we picked up in Vizcaino yesterday.

Wow. I'm looking forward to meeting you some day.
Your art is really beautiful. And I like the bird photo as well. The bottom boat picture is my favorite but they're all very nice. I may make a stop
at Asuncion this June after all. Hope you will be there. I'm glad you decided to post.
I am also interested how you were able to overwinter in baja all those years while school was proceeding without impacting your kid's education.
That's a big subject.

Thanks again friends! We're feeling very welcomed.
Skipjack, being in Baja with our kids was one of the best things we did--you've encouraged me to write a post about it, but it'll have to be after
party-planning...
Now where are those...skis. And the tambourine!

Welcome Nance and David
Good for you to start out your posts and great website. Your picture from Shari is now in cold Ontario on our mantle. I also hear that Dave has
his dream panga. Nice purchase guys. Enjoy yourselves. See you in November or at Christmas next year.
PS Happy Birthday Shari, I know you guys will help her.

And you've encouraged me to post a picture of dad with his accordian.
Why has that instrument been left behind like that? You have to go back to Marice Chevalier to evoke memories of accordians. I think it played a big
part in French early 20th centry culture (think Moulin Rouge) but is now silent. Though I must admit I've never been to Milwaukee. Not very fond of
polkas but the sound of accordian music drifting over the Seine - two thumbs up.

Good to hear you are still stirring things up....Thanks to Dave for letting me borrow his yellowtail. My boss still thinks I caught it!
The house and gallery look nice in their more finished state....but why do you need such a Big Antenna?
Best to Shari, Juan, Kevin and all the Amigos/Amigas in Asuncion

Pompano-Excellent work on the explosives. Do they come with Rice Krispy Squares?
And Barbareno--you can sell your water skis at your yard sale. We found ours.
