Flower Update


I picked my first wildflowers a couple days ago...first are these purple numbers...verbena? there are some yellow ones now too and the fragrant white ones are just appearing now.....smell will be divine in a couple weeks....viva las flores!

Shari,
What's your take on the winter precipitation this year so far? Above , below or average? Nice shot of the flowers. I believe that variety of Sand Verbena or Alfambrilla is Abronia gracillis. It's distinguished by it's pink to lavender flowers. Three other annual species of Sand Verbena are found on coastal plains and sandy areas of BC.
When I told Erin that the wild flowers were starting to bloom at Auntie Shari's house she insisted that you go with her on her flower finding mission. See you soon!
