Boat Repair in La Paz

Anyone know of a good, reliable boat repair shop in La Paz. I need to have some work done on my 15 foot fibre glass boat and 40 hp Tohatsu motor before I can use it for fishing in La Paz.

I want to change the low-sitting two passenger center console to a narrow single person center (or side) console that is tall enough to stand up and steer. Also, haven't started the engine in over 10 years, so I am sure it needs attention by now. The steering cables are frozen stuck so the steering wheel doesn't turn at all. Thats need repair for sure.

Any referrals woud be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have had great luck with Hector on Absolo, just a few blocks west of the Malecon on the south side of the road. He is next to, but not part of the adjacent boat/motor store.

He is actually an educated industrial engineer who speaks almost fluent english.

Forgot to mention that he is also a Diaz.
