Sirenita = I first met you when you were about 5 years old there. At that time, there was a small restaurant with no electricity - all the tables had
candlelight. The menu was fish - all different ways - and the place was absolutely full, and everyone was visiting with each other. You were there,
playing. That was such a great trip and that restaurant and all the people . . . . yeah - good times.

Yep, had to love that little palapa restaurant...
My mom had to open a tab because when she was out on the boats I would raid the kitchen to get some of Polo's (leopoldo who is now a boat driver as
well) awesome quesadillas!!!
Aaaah good times!!

Cool pictures, wilderone.
You know, you don't have to follow a size limit when you're using photobucket. They may make a stronger impact when they're a bit larger.

Great picture!!

The picture of your camping spot looks so lonely and lovely - really makes me want to be there.
Your pix are great. Thank you for taking the time to post them.

lonely? never. Peaceful, quiet - true essence is revealed without the clutter of human beings. The birds are always around, here the whales are
your amigos. At other places, the coyotes want to be pals; dolphin pay a vist; mice, lizards, turtles, fish - lots of life to keep you company. And
the energy from the past is always present. Sounds a little mystical, but that's the way it is. I seek out places that have been left alone so I can
see what should be there. My Subaru only let's me go so far, and that's when I pack the backpack and go on foot. Very rewarding.
I will say that in some places the life seems to have diminished, and that's when I feel a little sad - a sense of dying off. Since Baja CA has so
much, it can't be taken for granted - so much has been lost already. I didn't see one live turtle at San Ignacio lagoon, but thousands of parts -
from years and years of consumption. I didn't see one cruising dolphin at San Rafael - and only one live seal, two dead seal. Lots of tiny new baby
mussel shells, but no adult live mussels (what should be there).

Although I said 'lonely', wilderone, I meant to say 'alone'.
The fact of no other people and only mother nature there made your spot enticing to me.
Mystical is good.
