Vail - where is that Mike & Sharon?? will you drive thru phx to go south?

perfect time - i might be up for that - you are camping? and if so - where?

just checked the tides - 28th is full moon and a 13 ft tide at Alfi's - means flooded runway and have to use Ranch Grande and play rock dodge ball...

Hey Cap Vail is just east of Tucson off I-10
so I-10 to Phoenix, I-8 to Yuma then cross at Algodones

zip down thru San Felipe..pick up some bait squid, cerveza
and head south
we're in an FJ Cruiser pulling a off road venturcraft pop up
usually camp at Beluga...but email to Alfonsina's says we can camp up there as well (and closer to everything)

sorry about the scuba gear for the plane...but that rising tide should make for great fishin

"There's a 12.34 high tide this Saturday just after 1 AM. It may make the South end of the strip wet, but "best guess" is that there is still going to be enough usable strip left depending on what you are flying...maybe 1,500 ft left. Use short field take-off technique. There is often a brisk breeze out of the North by the early afternoon. If no breeze, consider taking off to the South so that by the time your airplane gets to the wet part of the runway, you'll either be air born or at least pretty light. That's what i would do. It would be great if Saturday morning you could walk the strip with a cup of coffee and then later let me know what the 12.34 ft tide actually looked like on the strip."

recent notes.
does your dates correspond with the NORRA 1000?

ok - i have one backer and we are doing the race at least to Gonzaga or Bola from Phx, watch all the fallderall then head for Mulege to scout properties - he is a buyer. - Mulege Jim - ??
we may camp at PSFO that 1st night leaving BOLA about 60 min ahead of dark.
the keys are gonzaga has a full moon and high tides then and i hate the rancho grande strip for the alternate.

we do not know how to get roooms at BOLA this late in the game cause NORRA will have the town sewed up..??

TW - anyone - ?? any clues on this?
