Free road from La Mision to Francisco Zarco

When we planned this trip we wanted to take the upper road through San Jose de la Zorra but were told at La Mision that this route was not advisable due to the heavy rains last month. We continued on the free road to the turn off to El Parral. While the new Almanac shows this to be graded, it is paved all the way to Francisco Zarco.

Some of the views and greenery are simply stunning; the cows are getting fat, the horses and goats seem to be loving all the green forage.
