It won't happen in not only not my lifetime, but my kids lifetime either. By the way, I do not have kids.
Maybe the new generation of Americano's will not look at the past and dive right in and invest in 10 or so years. Some people never learn, look at
all the projects including the Trumpster's fiasco.

I wonder where this "north side" location is. There really isn't much beach left in Rosarito Beach. It's impossible to walk from the tourist zone to
the end with the erosion damage and all the illegal houses in the federal zone. Where will they find the place to build 20 oceanfront villas?
Probably in front of my house. LOL
This is the son of the current Mayor Torres. It's a good thing Nancy Conroy is out of the picture... the shenanigans surrounding this mega-deal will
be epic and she took them all to task the last time. The mayor is free to join the fray after his current term expires in a few months- so you know
there must be something huge in this for him and his flailing condotel project.

What about his other project north of town called NAOS. I see they are working on that one again. You have to wonder why, when so many stand empty.
Even that big resort in Baja Malibu wont open its doors. I don't think Corona Plaza has ever had all its floors occupied.
You gotta wonder, what's in it for them???? This has been going on for years.

I'm familiar with the one South. It's next door to Sanoviv. They've already delivered the rock on site to build the breakwater. The principal
investors are the same folks who owned Coral Marina. I expect construction to begin within the next few months.

I believe the business plan is you get investors early on with the promise of future development. (How many ornate entrances have we seen in baja
with nothing beyond)
They promoters take the initial deposits and move on, leaving the investors with.......you know, nada.
I was particularly struck by his comparison to cruise ships in Ensenada, and the idea that people would appreciate being able to avoid the hassles of
the border. First of all, when a (dwindling number) ship arrives at Ensenada, it's carrying something like 2000 people. And they only stay in port for
a few hours. Either way, just because you arrive by ship/ boat, you are not immune from the immigration requirements.
