It's a good wild guess. It's Meling Ranch (Rancho San Jose), taken in 2001 from the old graveyard on the hill.

Melings was my 1st thought but i couldn't get past the short profile given the oblique on that image.

I think the shallow angle on the photo, and the fact that part of the runway is obscured by terrain, makes it look a lot shorter. But I promise you it is Meling :). Let me think about another one.

oh well.....give it a day i guess.
i found a couple others that i don't even know where they are so i'll post them fresh with a Q to see who can identify. they are baja places/pistas but how i got them i am not sure.
