San Felipe Palapa, any recomendations?

I am curious if anyone has any recomendations for a local contractor to build a Palapa
Also, can you tell me what you paid and how big it is?

Thanks

The very best is Pedro Tiznado & his boys. Even some of the contractors that do also build them will tell you he is the best. Learned from father & grandfather, the best & correct & longest lasting ones there are. He built the ones at EDR Palapa bar also which have been there for several years. if I remember right I think he built some at EDR Beach also. He built ours which is 20Ft in diameter & all double fronds. It's first year was the year of hurricane Nora, no problems. It is still standing on our patio & for its age is in relatively great shape.
Pedro used to work for EDR but I have no idea where he is now as he has not for several years. But there is a man that lives in the Ejido whose name is Jack Mc Donald that is a friend of the family so if you can locate him he could likly tell you about Pedro.
Believe me his is the BEST but if he is still building them I would believe likly not the cheapest.
If you would like to see ours drop me a line ok? I can also tell you where you can see a couple more Big ones he built.
