Aguas Caliente
Any Nomads tripping around the southland now can have the hot springs to themselves. Don't know why but I drove up there this morning and had the
place to myself. Not a camper/bather/hiker in the canyon. 80º, blue skies, just lovely.

I think people just might not want to pay the 20 pesos per person, or 100 pesos per night.

We were there a couple of summers ago, but the water was kind of murky. Told the kids not to put their heads in...but they're kids...and a couple did
end up with ear infections. Nice places to hike from there, and think we bought some cheese and guava candy on the drive through town....don't think
we paid a fee...but the place was littered with trash! We went after the weekend, and you could tell that there were crowds for the weekend!
