Can I get a fishing license at BOLA? The gas station I hear sells them.

I'm sorry I can't answer your specific question but surprisingly, fishing licenses are usually pretty difficult to buy down here so I always recommend
that you buy them before you head down. They are available from numerous places in So Cal but since you are in NorCal it might be easier to just
contact Discover Baja.

There is a past post on buying over the internet. That's what I did.
The gas station in Bahia de la LA doesn't sell them anymore.
The tourist office in Ensenada has them.

Thanks all. Will do it online. Lighthouse guy-I dropped by when you were building. You were very gracious to me and my Bud. I am showing Baja to a
Dutch friend. We will try to drop by and if it works out, stay a night or two.

San Francisco is in Northern California. It's certainly not Southern California.

"San Francisco is the cultural and financial center of Northern California and has the second highest population density of any major city in North
America after New York City[7]."
