I seriously doubt it. Most Mexican weed that is grown these days is of very poor quality, and seeded. Yuk.

And isn't a "contact high" when you get around some friends who are totally ripped and you find yourself grinning and laughing and feeling like you smoked the same fine reefer that they did? ;D

With all that smoke in the air I bet there was no tern left unstoned.

That looks like a lot of weed. Perhaps now they will finally have a handle on the problem. Anyway, will Mexico legalize it if the U.S. does?

Mexico did legalize it. Very small quantities only though.

Just sad, as across the border they sell it legally in California .... and the last time I checked it goes for around $60 1/8 oz .... so Mexico, if they had been allow to import that 45 tons ... lets see.. 45 * 2200= 99,000 pounds.. * 16 oz/lb 1,584,000 oz * 8= 12,672,000 * $60/ 1/8 = $101,376,000.. thats retail, but would appear to be a substanial sum even at the wholesale level.. at least as much as what they get on many other imports ....

But, then if it were legalized the price would go to hell... gee, now what do you think that means... :):)

And not sure I would like my face up on that one.... some brave guys out there... must say

It may look like a lot of weed, but that's only a drop in the bucket. I've been involved in many weed burnings during my younger days, in Florida, working for the Dept of Justice (DEA). As for the smell, well, they usually soak it all with kerosene and it goes up quickly. The smell is putrid (sp?). We've also used large incenerators to get rid of the bulk, saving a few bales and pictures for evidence. We would caravan it all in rental trucks with highway partol along side. Had to watch the temp workers real close! Sometimes seeing them stuffing some of it in their pockets as they load it all. Most of the stuff we got came off of tankers snagged by the Coast Guard. (Mother ships). 200 tons was common back then.

Well of course they served them lunch. Could you imagine riding in a bus with a bunch of school kids that have the munchies?
