Early Morning from the Front Porch

Just a few days ago--

Light left from the sunrise and the setting moon.

[img] [/img]

A couple pix of the morning birds --- land recently cleared by a friend hoping to build an RV Park in the near future.

And a new garden in progress in front of our guest room---garden to be named Pig Garden in honor of the old timers who remember when our beach was called Pig Beach

And an artwork in progress for Pig Garden

There will be a mother pig to go with the baby and these rock carvings will be mounted on laja rock on the wall. Local artist is having a good time with this project.

Thank you for looking

Diana

Thank you for showing us Diane. That's Lorenzo isn't it? And the birds look really happy down on Pig Beach. (and what a misnomer that is!):)

He is one of Fernando's brothers, but he is Alberto unless I forgot his real name because we know him best as Moreno. Really like all the brothers.

Moreno's wife and kids are also really great.

Moreno is really an artist and prefers doing something creative. The pigs will be fun.

Sure hope to see you both later this year!

WOWEEE....the first sun creeping over the sand with moon is outstanding!!! Asuncion calendar shot! Moreno is very very talented with rock and iron works...a true artist. The pig garden will be spectacular.

Neat pix, Diane. Thank you much for sharing them.

Your little garden is lovely. And the pig(s)... well, I'm in love with that little piggy.
What a fantastic idea for garden art.

Thanks Nena,

It is good to have local artists around here and they appreciate a chance to do their thing. When we asked him if he could carve us some pigs out of the rock we all had a good laugh as to why and the next day he had a couple of drawings. The very heavy first pig arrived a couple of days later with him and his son pushing the wheelbarrow.

We thought about changing how he wants to put them on rock, but decided we are just going to let him do it how he wants---- he is the artist. We are also talking about possible highlights in the pigs---as I said, it is a work in progress.

Thanks Diane, I can just picture the view standing a little bit to the right from my front porch, great morning shots. I love your pig, Moreno is making dolphins for my front wall. I can't wait to see them.

What we see depends mainly on what we look for.

Yes, the view from our front porches is pretty hard to take.

I know it will not be for a few months, but we look forward to your return and I hope your dolphins and our pigs are completed by then.

BMG---thanks---early morning around her can be beautiful---when I get up early enough to see it.

Irene, he is a real artist. He also does beautiful metal work----never too quickly, but beautiful.

IFYFISH----so glad the pig idea made you smile---makes us smile and we hoped it would make others smile along with us. Wait for the finished product!

Thank you to everyone for looking.
