don't think so.
this is a social networking site too.
and i mentioned trips to baja.

havasu as a new base makes:
handy for californios to hook up to fly, and
very close and convenient for calexico, San felipe and San quintin areas.

Mike: I am sorry to hear that you are moving to Lake Havasu!

That , to me , is the worse move Virginia and I made when we came back from Loreto. Ended up making some Money but Mike it is loaded woth Week end LA Trash driving 1/2 Million dollar Boats, making Noise, making Porn Movies on the Sanspit, walking around Nude in the Grocery Stores, taking their Bras off at the London Bridge.

We only stayed a year and a Half, I will never go back. and on top of all of that it gets to 134 Degrees in the Summer.

Good Luckl You will need it!

Mike..

How much for a flight around the sandspit, during the filming of the pornos? Maybe it'd be a good time to practice the water landings.

the "water rats" around the bridge are amazing...parrrttteee

the water truns green in the summer its so hot:o:o

sometimes they close the lake because the water is bad
and the boats go north...

i've never seen a plane land on the water there though

absoloutly the BEST 4th of july show anywhere if you're on the water

mike

I had a good friend with a home there for many years and spent much time in Havasu. I always enjoyed the town and the lake, and the airport/FBO was always functional and hospitable.

One big plus for Havasu is that Skeet won't be there. Enjoy the sanity and correct spelling..

If I'm still here, I'll meet ya at Mudsharks for a beer.

I like it here, just don't go near the water on weekends. I see nothing wrong with bikini clad supermarket patrons.

In the winter, the snow birds take over, they remember what manners are.

There's also a quality smallmouth fishery, best in winter, fish averaging over 3lbs.

Crime rate is very low.

Great little carniceria here now for all your mexican style meats.

Did I mention bikini clad store patrons?

Another thing Lake Havasu has going for it (other than those bridge and supermarket activities) is some of the cheapest housing going. One can find houses for under $100,000, which--in spite of the economic crisis--is saying something in this day and age. And what Baja Lover isn't enchanted by desert? Of course, there is that river to contend with.
