nope...not the chupacabra...they fly! The Chupacabra caper here that was documented by american scientists (Juan was the translater and they made a
video about it)...noted that there were no footprints of any kind around the corral where the cows and goats were lifted out of and strewn around the
ranch with the blood sucked out of em...cool eh! The animals had marks where the chupacabra grabbed em by their backs and lifted them out of the 8'
pen....yet another reason to explore Asuncion!!

Chupacabra Curry
1.5 Kg (3 lbs) chupacabra meat, cut into 1 inch cubes
2 limes
2 medium onions sliced
6 cloves garlic, finely chopped (2 tsp minced garlic)
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon thyme
1 Habanero pepper, fine chopped
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon sugar
5 green onions, finely chopped
2 tbsp curry powder
2 potatoes, peeled and cut into ½-inch cubes
Squeeze the lime juice all over the meat cubes. Place in frig and let stand for 5-10 mins
Rinse the meat in cold water and drain off excess. Rub the spices into the meat (you will need rubber gloves) and place the meat into a sealable
plastic container
Add in the onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, thyme, and the Habanero chili pepper
Place in the frig to marinate for 2 hours uncovered
Heat the oil and sugar slowly in a large saucepan. Stir and heat until the sugar starts to brown, don’t burn it
Add in the meat along with the marinade, green onions and the curry powder and stir the mixture thoroughly
Cover the pot, and reduce to a low heat. Simmer the meat in its own juices, and stir every 5 minutes
Cook for around 30 minutes until the meat is tender.
Add in the potatoes and ¼ cup of water and stir in thoroughly
Cover the saucepan and simmer for another 15 minutes until the potatoes are cooked but still firm in texture
Crush some of the potato cubes and stir in to thicken the sauce

I think I saw one of those things running around the streets of Ocean Beach yesterday. It was on a leash tied to one of the bums.
Don\'t mess with the old dog...... Age and skill will always overcome youth and treachery! Brilliance only comes with age and
experience.....  ....  ....

Once upon a time, I had a buddy that knew how to get more drunk than anyone in the bar and he would invariably end up crawling around the floor,
barking and growling like a dog while he bit people on the ankles.
Great fun.

KASHEYDOG...This is Co-pilot reporting back on what transpired here a while ago. Pompano and his life-long amigo, Randy, were both here.
Randy was a witnesses to the chupacabra atack . He notices Pompano does not seem to be breathing and his eyes are glazed.
Randy whips out his phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps, "My friend is dead! What can I do?". The operator says "Calm down. I can
help. First, let's make sure he's dead."
There is a silence, then a shot is heard.
Back on the phone, the guy says "OK, now what?"
I think perhaps it is too late, now, yes?

Too bad he shot shot him because the symptoms sounded like a simple hang over from the afore mentioned "wine event". Probably could have been saved.
However, that having been said, how much do you want for the boat.....

Naw....I'd let him stay. He'd get tired of it all after a while and go home. I don't think he ever drew blood, but I'm sure he mangled some socks.
