That's too bad, bottom line: In Mexico you cannot go away and leave things in a remote home with nobody watching it and expect that they will be there
when you return.

Stolen Truck
I am the neighbor that had the other truck stolen. My truck is old and ugly, so I thought no one would want it except me! It only has about 110K miles.
1989 Ford Ranger, 4 Wheel Drive
VIN: 1FTCR11T6KUB45363
California License: 4N18964
Gold with white camper shell
If you see it please contact the Los Barrilles police ASAP.
Thanks for watching for three stolen vehicles and the other equipment.

Very sad that people have to resort to such low means to rob someone of their belongings. Hope you are both able to recover your things.

This is very unusual for the scale of the theft. One could speculate that the trucks were taken just to carry off the smaller and more easily fenced
items, and hopefully will be recovered shortly.

when the turds are found in possesion of the stolen vehicles just kick their scrawny assses in the middle of the street in front of their friends.
then call the cops to report your vehicle has been found.

I guess only the people who live in the projects will be safe now. Maybe condos, compounds, all gated community living is the way to go now using
Fishguy's thinking. How sad. He gives the word remote a bad name. Really sad folks.

You paint the saddest face of a man who is snake bit. Since your big $40,000 burglary, you are really emotionally locked up. Tell us if you got all
the money back on your insurance policy. Tell us if you made money on the deal. Tell us how it came to be that you left the place so vulnerable since
you seem to be obsessed by security. You're the one spewing the saddest kind of shattered world view ideas in an area peopled by free spirits. Knock
it off will you. You keep asking for this Matt and you'll get it. Give it up pal. Leave the subject alone, have a cold one, chill out, we will not
live in fear even though you paint grimmer and worse pictures for us.

I can't believe robbers locked an old lady in the closet .... so mean, so mean.
I sure hope those vehicles are found - the way registrations are checked at check points everywhere, maybe it will be a fast recovery.

Sorry for the loss. They should be taken out and buried in the arroyo to be washed out in the next Hurricane.
I keep my vehicle down in L.B.. In it I have a tracking system that enables me to track the car thief live via google earth. It sis hidden and they
don't know it is there.
Its called Liverviewgps and I pay 24 dollars a month. It may not stop the thief but you can at least follow the bastard to his den with all your
stuff.Plus you can enable or disable starter from your computer.

I got it two years back at the liveveiwgps office in valencia, Ca. They have a guy that will install it on your vehicle for 10o and took a half hour.
I have the vehilcle one which is the VLS 500. Its been some time but I thinkI paid about 250 for it. Its $19.95 plus $5.00 for mexico. Its uses
cellular network for tracking.
You can even set up a perimeter around it hat ranges from 100 feet to hundreds of miles. If the vehicle is taken out of your designated perimeter then
you will receive a text alerting you. The thief has no idea that you are on to him.
They also sell ones for boats, trucking containers. For the newer models it plugs directly into the crs computers. My truck is old so it is hard
wired.
Here is the link. They are more than willing to take care of your needs.

That's true, it's a real bummer. I was robbed twice in 8 years when I lived in a beachfront apartment in Del Mar, CA. Four years now in quaint and
charming Tijuana, so far so good. But I'm in a gated community with guards manning the gate 24/7 and two barker doggers in the yard. Arf, arf.

Nothing conjures up a sense of security like a drunk who is locked and loaded.

All the usual macho gun talk. I doubt the authorities would look favorably on a Gringo who has shot a local with an illegal gun. Regardless of the
circumstances, I suspect you would be headed to jail.

They caught the guys within an hr carring a big flatcreen down the road at about 2 am. the old lady had a cell phone in her pocket and called 911
when they were still in the home. My cousin heard them kick in the door but thought nothing of it as you can always here neighbors at night opening
doors..etc. |
This was a great ending to a horrific story. Caught walking down the street
with TV !!! |

Sounds like tweakers or meth heads stealing to feed their habits. Hopefully the police don't play nice with them.
