24-year-old Nancy Michelle Mendoza Moreno was arrested Friday.

She is a US Citizen, who was working at a law office in Tijuana in 2008. The woman was reportedly a member of a gang that was affiliated with the Arrellano/Felix Drug Cartel. Officials say she is suspected in kidnapping in Chula Vista and San Ysidro. She fled the area in 2008. Mexicali police say they used intelligence information provided by US Law Enforcement to track down the suspect. She was found Friday near the Colonia Buena Vista in Mexicali. Officials say she is facing charges of kidnapping and organized crime. Mendoza Moreno was taken to Mexico City, to go through the extradition process.
