Holes being filled on Vizcaino-Asuncion road!!!! most excellent news

we were up at 5:00 a.m. yesterday for a quickie trip to the Port Captain in Sta.rosalia...trying to beat the heat (fat chance). The sunrise looked promising for a cloudy, maybe tolerably not stinking hot day in the big city....not to be.

It was (for me) just plain miserably hot & humid...I had to keep going to El Muelle restaurant for limonada to cool down a bit between trips to the bakery, bank, store etc. My respect for those of you who can abide that heat.

Got all our stuff done and headed back....quick dip in the Presa in San Ignacio...oil change in Vizcaino, groceries, new mix and off we scooted back to the cool coast.

the best part of the trip was seeing this!!!

and THIS!!! which is even better...not only filling holes with the good stuff but the roller was packing it down...a sight for sore butts from all the potholes.

FINALLY!!!

Now let's just hope it lasts another few weeks for when I have to be raced in to G.N. to welcome baby Izaak!

A race? My daughter, Sarah is ready to pop out her little girl (Savannah) any day... due date is Sept. 3... but she is pretty close, we think!

Did someone say pool? Yeesh I could use one of those right about now....ocean water is too cold and I'm dying to relax in the water and ease the load!!

Yep I'm thinking Izaak is coming early as well...He finally dropped yesterday so it was a bit uncomfortable but at least he's on his way!!!

I love the idea of a baja baby gathering, when is it??? =D

We will have to see when Sarah and Will are comfortable taking the baby camping... Savannah 'dropped' last weekend, aimed for the driveway and leaving the garage!
