Hmmm....this looks like it may be the first real storm we might get this season. Yesterday's swim told me that the shore temps were a bit cooler than last week...probably a bit below 70 degrees...I bet the water temps on the other side are in the mid 80's....big difference.

hoping this little storm brings some warmer water..and....TUNA!!! for Woody.

No you don't! If we could get just a little rain, that would be nice, but NO BIG STORMS---please.

Michael,
I don't believe this is going to be anything like John or Jimena. And we do need the rain.

Believe me, I know what you're talking about. We got our share here in Nopolo, although not as bad as Marty.

It's been raining pretty steadily since about 9 this morning. East Cape. No rain gauge, but the filthometer on the car says about 1/4 inch. Enough to get the layer of dirt wet, but not enough to wash it off. Very attractive if it stops now. This isn't the storm the weather service is tracking.

Went to take the dog to the beach just in time to see a wall of wind and water coming. Closed the windows and brought radios in just as it hit. Filthometer says about half an inch and will now be unreliable....now have to read the interior collection gauges on the rich Corintian leather seats.
