Grapes, and More Grapes

At a friend's house

One of the things we love about this town are the beautiful gardens that are so well tended. This one very old grape vine. Oh, the grapes are REAL good.

The foliage looks great! Bet the grapes are sweet as heck

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

VERY sweet---some of the sweetest grapes I have ever had! Of course, vine ripened always helps.

We are jealous because we can't get them to grow this close to the ocean with all the salt and wind!

Many of the gardens in town are watered with grey water from the kitchen and washing machine. Good use, I think.
