I got stopped in La Paz for driving the wrong way on a 1 way street. I did it, I was guilty, I wasn't paying attention, I only went about 50' the wrong way before I backed up to the intersection and wouldn't you know it there was a motorcycle cop sitting there.....he motioned for me to pull over.....I smiled and said "no fumar espanole".....after examining my license he told me to be more observant in the future (I think that's what he said....after all, I no fumar espanole) and he rode away. Nice guy, just there to help the non observant gringo....no problem, no mordita, he must have been a new guy......dt

Looks like I'll be running the high school shuttle for my son when I get to La Paz. Considering the fact that there are crack and meth dealers all over Orange County, I still think my family is safer in La Paz than here!
