I love this time of year/sunrise

It really doesn't get much better than this!
I brought an electric coffee maker back with me thinking that I'd save some time waiting before my first cup at O-dark-thirty. After two mornings of lousy electric brewed coffee I went back to cowboy perked and Wow what a wonderful cup! Here's some pics while I waited for the sun to rise. Sorry about the late post this morning. The fresh perked coffee drew a few neighbors and distracted me until the coffee ran out.

Couldn't upload into photobucket so only one of four so far.

I agree about that first one! And I love the way number 3 is framed. Looks beautiful over there.

Sure is not the typical October weather around here! Fog has been hanging into the early afternoons on many days, and early winds. Sweatshirt and socks weather and need the quilt at night.

Should be interesting to see what La Nina brings!

I was hoping to get my act together and head over to Asuncion Saturday but I'm too lazy to get the truck and camper ready now. So maybe later. I really want to get some surf fishing in over there. But the weather reports have been frigid and my old bones may have a problem adjusting

Nice shots, Russ. Closest I can come to that in Diego is sucking on a cup of instant Nescafe and looking at the sunrise over a thousand rooftops. Thanks for sharing.

Good to have you on point again... just great shots.. thanks for your time and effort...

Like your story on the coffee.. wife likes drip or electric perk.. like it just as you described.... comes out "different" in a good way...
