RANCHO EL TANGALIOTE - PUERTO NUEVO - BCS
Les took a 2 day trip to Puerto Nuevo ... and had a great time ... it is south of Tortugas: the Cabanas were comfortable, the bathroom was outside
and clean, the people were friendly. He was invited so he stayed for free, but I will investigate to get the prices ... wanted to share the photos.
It is an oasis and the flowers were in full bloom and plenty of veggies to be had as well (tomatoes, chiles)

Thanks so much for the photos. We have see the signs for that place on our way to Tortugas and wondered about it. We think we would like to visit.

VIII Puerto Nuevo Lobster Festival was a few weeks ago, yeah?
This is my sort of place to camp at...looks like a Viking's playground. Just how far from TJ of a drive is this place?
Are Americans allowed to catch Lobster? License needed? A pack of 6 tails at the Sacramento Costco....was $178.00 two months ago. No kidding....and
yes...I was wearing my specs!
The huts.....whats the rate for the huts? Sorry about all the questions...but this is really a great looking spot to go to.

You do realize that Puerto Nuevo in the photos is between Bahia Tortugas and Bahia Asuncion... and not the Puerto Nuevo just south of Rosarito? 
No, Americans cannot legally catch any shellfish in Mexico (clams, lobster, oysters, crabs).

Can you post one of your famous maps of this area?
Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

I still have to find out the price of the cabanas, but it is indeed as rustic as you can get. which is what makes it even more special !! I am pretty
sure Les was the first foreigner to ever stay there.

. Yup... this place is REMOTE!!! it would be a wonderful place to have a little gathering...another OLD BAJA type place to be discovered...bring lots
of beer....it's a long way to the deposito!!!
