Road from Hwy 1 to San Juanico Cove (Sea of Cortez side)

I don't have the guts to take my boat from Mulege down to San Juanico cove (on the Sea of Cortez side) but I have heard that it's one of the most beautiful beaches in Baja. Does anyone know of a way to get there over land from Hwy 1? It looks like there's a turnoff about 1/2 way between the end of the Bay of Concepcion and Loreto (on Google earth), but it's tough to know. Any help would be much appreciated.

Nomad Search Engine

This is a tough one, because the other, more popular San Juanico (Scorpion Bay) gets more posts...

Also searched San Basilio (the nearby bay)...

Here are some for San Juanico on the east coast...

Thanks David; exactly what I was looking for. I may give it a shot when I'm down in December; if so, I'll post how it went.
