ANAPROMEX registered cars are all over the place around here. The new and used car associations have been trying to get rid of them for years so maybe they found a way.
I have forgotten what my worker said it cost to register a US car with old California plates....not much. That means no importation.
I'll ask him again maņana.

Kate...while you're here: you once upon a time posted a site which gave government prices for Immigration...FM3/2 etc.
Do you recall what that was?

How old does the US plated vehicle need to be?? For example, is my 2000 Tacoma qualified?? I have recently seen some La Paz cops in trucks & curbside here in Todos--I wonder! Tio

OK....Just checked with my worker as to the cost of Anapromex registration for an expired California plated car. It's 800 Pesos, one time, nothing further.

Tio........I don't think this program is for you and your Tacoma. It's more like a Social Service for the less-fortunate and if they confiscate the vehicles here with this type of registration, there will be a lot of people walking.
