Favorite viveros in La Paz/Centenario
WooHoo!
11/30 I'm officially retired, or should I say reborn. Now I'll finally be able to spend more time at my casita.
One of my first projects is a garden design. I have a favorite vivero in Centenario, but I'd like to expand my horizons.
Suggestions?
Dana

What timing for your question. I just went to a new for me place yesterday. I can't remember the name of the street but if you go up the Libremento
by Walmart, make a left at the light just where the "Libre" becomes a two-way. (like you are heading to Ley's). There are two nurseries on your left.
Great prices compared to elsewhere. I got two hybiscus', two gardenias and a philodendrum for about $30 US.
More importantly, Congratulations on your upcoming retirement. I pulled the plug six months ago and haven't looked back. I love being retired and
being able to spend much more time in LP.

Consider seeds and cuttings, more fun and affordable. there is no need to be paying $10-30 per plant, there is an organic garden in La Ribera which
has seeds and I understand there is one in Centanario or just past on the right heading north... otherwise all the viveros are great but you need one
where you have a friend.

Hi Alan - thanks for the info. I pass those viveros all the time - the shrimp guy is right there - but I hadn't stopped in. I'll check them out.

Ive tried most and for me the one in Centenario is the best.

I would love to get some cuttings from you - but La Paz is a bit far for a casual drive
