What was time left from san fran to time arrived in san ignacio? just wondering how many people I can bring through and how many to send around. What a great trip you pulled off and some beautiful photos, thanks!

San Francisquito to San Ignacio is 8-10 hours, depending on stops, getting lost, and all that....longer with more riders

Don't believe everything you think....

Beautiful photos of the Bill Nichols Trail and more! Central Baja is the greatest!

I'm confused. Where is this trail you guys rode? (Yeah, Baja, I know) but exactly from where to where?

(I thought the "Bill Nichol's trail" was east/west from S. of Puertecitos to Mex 1 north of Catavina)

Where does San Francisquito to San Ignacio fit in?

So confusing!!!

Beautiful pics and narritive, guys.

There are lots of photos on that forum link... they are huge and takes awhile for my old PC to open them... The Bill Nichols Trail is from south of Puertecitos west to El Marmol, also to L.A. Bay north of the paved road, etc. Then there is another that Kacey Smith published in her first guidebook that goes south form El Barril to San Ignacio... it uses some of the El Camino Real beyond La Trinidad to Santa Marta. There are also photos of the Pacific Coast where Mike and Don-Kay are right now... Lot's to see.

The Trinidad Rt. is almost a jeep trail--very ruff jeep trail in wash
For 3 of us it took a long March day we were on the trail 1st light and in San Ignacio just before dark---it's so ruff and not as changing as it use to be I'm not sure i want to ride it any more

photos are too large to load quickly. would have liked to glance at photos, but were taking too long to load. but the first few looked nice :bounce:

suggest you save versions of photos that are optimized for web (i.e. smaller files)

Right... it is very helpful that before you upload photos from your PC to Photobucket.com that you pre-select a size for viewing them... (click on the options link first)

No bigger than 800 pixels (15" screen) or the size called 'Large' is nice for viewing... just a bit smaller than 800 pixels.

You can multi-post George, but you also can pre-size them to 800 pixels wide or less when you upload to Photobucket from your PC... per Baja Nomad photo posting request.

Below where you see this:

"Upload to Photobucket"
is this:

"Customize your upload options" (in blue text)

Click that!

Then see this, pick one (800 or less):

100x75
160x120
320x240 (Medium)
640x480 (Large)
*800x600 (15" monitor)
1024x768 (17" monitor)
1280x960
1600x1200
2048x1536
2592x1944
3648x2736
4000x3000
