I count 398 separate parts and pieces of my rear brakes and wheels laying on the ground..and the mechanic is gone.

I have boxed stuffing in my pantry, some sushi in the fridge, and a Hickory Farms Beef Stick.

Any ideas?

Come on, Nomads of San Diego...

Pompano has just hit his Spot Device and has sent out a distress signal.

Will someone send out a search party and haul his burro
back to your house for Thanksgiving?

Hola Blanca...

Yes!..am finally done with all the necessary repairs and replacements to my Baja chariot.

I am just now having my breakfast..not a brake-fest...at Chula Vista Marina and will be crossing the border within a half hour.

Unfortunately, I must make one stop at an ER for a short stop...hopefully.

Then pedal to the metal for Irene's RV park and have dessert or a martini..or both. Then off to deliver your package and head for home.

Saludos y hasta pronto, Rogelio

Interesting mike.
When I read Vince's offer I thought that if Jill and I were in SD she could put on a black wig and we could go to his house impersonating pomp and co-pilot. We could have gone down to the motor home repair shop a mile from our house and asked him to pick us up there. Imagine how good it would have made him feel to help out a couple of fellow Nomads broke down on a holiday.......I feel kinda bad now that we deprived him of the rewarding feeling of helping his fellow man.....

Good of you to offer Vince, you rock, Nomads rock in general. I'm privileged to be part of this group....dt.

Hola Vince...thanks for the dinner invite, had to pass this time..besides, I know your real address and the one you gave is the Coronado Police Station. Nice touch!

I am back in our bay now..Coyote. Got back quite late last night and collapsed into a soft bed. Didn't even watch O'Reilly. ;D

An a bad note, our new neighbor & home-owner suffered the loss of his rubber dingy and Yamaha 4-stroke last night. Damn thieves came by boat, cut the line and must have towed all away into the darkness. We are off to patrol the bay now and we will report it to the Mulege police this morning.

I will check all the casas for any other thefts or attempts...including yours.

Reminds of the time years ago when a burglar at mi casa ticked me off and I offered that large reward..remember? He was one sorry SOB after a severe prison stay and then deportation. Tough...do the crime, do the time. Maybe the same will happen to this crook.

I'll tell you about my ER visit when we see each other...fun times it was not. Ciao.
