Thank you for the photos and sharing your fun... "If they fly, they die" Love
it! Baja Angel was a dove hunter, El Centro at season opener every year... before we met. I only kill fish, if I am lucky!

Stephen, Congratulations on a what looked like a great trip and successful hunt. WonderDog is in dog paradise for sure!
I've found out via U2U and emails that there many, many naturalists, sportsmen, hunters, and environmentalists reading Nomads who appreciate the
feelings you share about nature and getting personally involved. It's all beneficial to education about contributing to keeping Baja's environment
healthy and maintaining wildlife numbers at max......as is seen in the recent good cycle of rabbit/quail/coyote/deer/sheep/lion numbers.
Thanks for that great set of email photos and congratulations again on a truly fine bird dog.
Good Hunting, my friend. Keep 'em Flying.
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

ESTEBANIS - Ok, so the question is: was quail on the menu for dinner ????? when we were in England, in hunting country, they shot them and then we
ate them for dinner ... a definite first for me.
and 4 years ago we got our english springer spaniel Rex in England ! such a wonderful breed, one of the kindest dispositions on the planet. his days
are filled with hunting for lizards under rocks ... he spends hours nosing every rock and bush all around our property, when he isn't going crazy
barking and jumping over every wave he can find on the beach. one happy Baja dog.

You better believe it! I saute them on a bed of carmalized onions. There is no better tasting game bird than Valley Quail. Except maybe some of the
Geese and Mallards out of Pompano's Hunts.
Simon is a German Small Munsterlander. He is breed and trained as a "Versitile Hunting Dog" That means he is a Pointer, Retriverer and Tracking dog. I
have put in hundreds of hours training him. I can't stand to shoot a bird and not recover it. That is never a problem with Simon the Wonderdog
around...

Did you see how calm the ocean got after that Santa Ana Conditon on the Tuesday B4 "Dia De Pavo"? Wish I brought my speargun instead of my Shotgun...
