Great weather...great fishing in Asuncion

The last 2 weeks have been superb here...hardly any wind at all, hot, sunny days, calm seas...almost too good to be true. Even the ocean has been wonderful and yesterday the visability was over 50' and the yellowtail are moving closer to the village now and can be caught trolling rapalas...now if it would only warm up another 10 degrees, we'd all be happy.

All the fishermen this week have been pleased with their yellowtail in the 15-25 lb range as well as big bonita which we smoked, whitefish and sheepshead.

Great report shari

What sort of wood are u using to smoke?

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

shari, Thanks for the fishing report and the pictures. That's a happy baby!!! An old refrig. makes a great smoker as long as there's no plastic components. Looking forward to more fishing reports and pictures. Good luck with everything.:D
